Drink up!!

Lets face it, water is colorless, odorless, flavorless..basically boring..  but the thing is, I don’t think people know how essential water is…

60% of our body weight is made up of water…it helps flush out toxins, moistens our tissues, and has the important job of carrying nutrients to our cells.

After reading up on it, I actively forced myself for the last month to LOVE water.  Its become a habit for me now…  Trust me, its definitely much better for you than soda, coffee and processed juices.  Its the only zero-calorie drink out there!

So, how much water do we need?

Well, ladies we need to drink around 2.2Liters a day (which is around 9 glasses), and men around 3 Liters (13 glasses).

It might seem like a task at first, but once you get used to it, you’ll love it.

So when are the best times to drink up?

When you first wake up: 2 glasses which will help with your blood circulation and flush out toxins

30 mins before every meal: 1 glass of water to help with digestion

Before getting into bed: 1 glass of water

And don’t forget to keep a bottle of water next to you at all times!
