9/11 Remembering a Tragedy: 10 years

11 Sep

Do u remember where you were? What you were doing?  How you found out?

I will never forget that day…. 11 Sept. 2001

I was at home, sitting on the couch, and my friend (who was on her way over to my house) called me and said ” TURN ON THE TV QUICK!!!! WATCH CNN!! A PLANE JUST CRASHED INTO THE WTC IN NEW YORK ”

And from that moment on, I sat on the couch, mortified by what I was watching…. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing live on TV….

And as I watched the second plane crash into the other tower ….. my heart sank,

And when they announced a plane had crashed into the pentagon, I was horrified…

It was like watching a cliche american movie, only this time it was real, and it wasn’t going to end happily

Those images of the jumpers broke my heart….. Every single one of these people had family who loved them and was waiting anxiously for their return….

Then the towers crumbled, one after the other, like wafer….. Unbelievable!!!… with 1000’s of people still trapped inside… What a tragedy… sighhhhh

We will never forget!
